Status and Issues
A large-scale rockfall had occurred and restoration work had commenced, but there was concern at the site that the rockfall would spread. Therefore to ensure the safety of the workers engaged in the restoration work, a safety management system was introduced that notified when alarm values were exceeded.
Results
The location was a mountainous area where power supplies and mobile phone circuits were unstable, but construction of the early monitoring system was achieved utilizing the features of the company’s system that enables data to be transmitted to a location where the circuits are stable using.
